My New Favourite Film

Hello there!
This is a bit of a weird post as I don't think I have ever done a favourite themed one before but here goes nothing...
My favourite film is Connie and Carla and it's set in America, mainly the LA but Chicago is also featured too and it was made in 2004 but I have however only recently heard of it and watched it.
*SPOILER ALERTS*
There are two main characters, Connie and Carla (well done to all of you who noticed they were the same names as the ones in the title) are obsessed with musicals and that's really how they have bonded so well, through mutual obsession but their jobs in musical theater haven't really worked out that well so their always having to borrow money off their boss Frank. After accidentally witnessing members of the Mafia shoot Frank for stealing their cocaine, they have to go in hiding to LA.
They then wind up auditioning and getting the roles of drag queens in a gay club, which is very different to their usual venue, airports.
Things are going smoothly, well as smoothly as they can with them being women pretending to be men pretending to be women  and their neighbors (who are also drag queens) live next door and can come in their house anytime and find them out to be girls.
The two settle in and  make a pact not to let men interfere with their life after their previous lovers Al and Mikey cheat on them and tell them they are going to get no where in life. However, this pact then causes conflict when Connie falls for Jeff
, the straight brother of Robert, one of their drag queen friends. As the show gets bigger, the two convince the club owner, Stanley , to convert it into a full dinner theater, and eventually their popularity threatens to expose them as they appear on their local TV station, thinking that the head of the mafia won't find them. Little do they know, the head of the mafia has hired Al and Mikey to find them and they do meaning the mafia now know where they are hiding. On the official opening night of the dinner theater, the mob killers catch up with them, but with the help of their drag queen friends, and to great applause from the audience (who think it is part of their act), Connie and Carla take them down. They ultimately confess their real identities to the audience and are accepted for who they are. Connie reveals herself to Jeff, who arrives after the chaos. He accepts her and becomes her boyfriend.

I don't know why I like this film so much but it's actually genuinely really good and you should all watch it.
So yeah...

My Fabulosa Saturday

Hello there fellow earthlings! I'm sorry it's late but I did originally forget to write this yesterday and I have wrote this once and then accidentally deleted it - whoopsies so I'm going to write it again especially for you all! I woke up at 8am and only went to bed at 11pm so as you can tell already, I did quite a lot yesterday so be prepped up for a quite long account of what happened!
To start the day, I woke up at 8ish so I had plenty of time to get ready for the dress rehearsal at dancing but I ended up just sitting on my bed pondering life for 10 minutes so I only had about 15 minutes to get ready which included having my hair done, putting my make-up on, getting dressed and eating my breakfast as well as the usual morning things such as washing and brushing my teeth. All in all, I did quite well and managed to leave the house in time (probably because of my multitasking skills such as brushing my teeth and getting dressed- waheeeey).
Anyways, after that  got in the car and set off for dancing, suitcase in hand, ready to begin the dress rehearsal. One hour after arriving we finally started and thus proceeded another 5 hours of  practicing for the show this weekend - which I'm really excited for by the way! But who wouldn't be? We finally get to show what we have been doing and working on over the past two years and we can also show everyone how we have improved since the last show and also show them our skills.
After dance, I went home and got ready to go back out again to meet my friend at Preston Docklands where we would be going to the cinema and going for a meal too. After getting ready and taking the stage make-up off and putting the normal kind on, I set back off onto the roads, journeying to the mystical land of the Docklands. Once there, my friend and I went to watch 'Bad Neighbors' which was really good by the way but really quite rude and dirty at the same time (no wonder it was a 15). It was really cool as well because it was just us in the cinema meaning I could roly-poly down the aisle without getting judged! When the film had finished we went to eat at Chiquitos where we had booked a table at 6.30pm that morning - or at least thought we had booked in because once we got there, the woman said there was no booking for a table for two but let us in anywhere because it wasn't busy which I thought was nice of her because she could have easily said no :)
Once we had finished eating, which was about 1 hour later, we decided to walk around the docklands which is effectively one big circle.  1 and 1/2 hours later, we had walked the circle about six times and decided that it was time for a sit down - which I was very grateful of as my feet were really sore at this point. Anyhow, we then messaged our parents to come and pick us up as it was nearly 9pm and growing colder. Knowing our parents were on their way, we walked back to Odeon - so it was easier for them to pick us up and then went home.
I had an amazing time, it was just perfect!
When I got home I got ready for bed, had a snack and then watched Connie and Carla which I am watching as I write this up.
So yeah...

Still locked out

Just posted but you'd never guess who has joined me? Margo!
Most of you won't know who she is but she is my cat and I've had her for nearly a year now so yeah, we can be locked out together except she isn't really very good so company and keeps pouncing on everything that blows in the wind but hey ho, better than no company .
So yeah...

Locked out

Okay, so I know I haven't posted for the past few days but I have done them and will post them later but I currently locked out (hence the title 'locked out') and the only reason I can post this is because I have managed to pick my wifi signal up from the front door :)
Anyway, whilst I'm here I may as well tell you about today's total fiasco! You'd never guess what did! I went and left my juice carton at home (cue gasps of horror) so when I went to have my morningly frosties breakfast bar and juice carton I was appalled to find no juice carton. To be quite honest  I felt lost without it for the rest of the day :( that's the end of the story really and my dad still isn't  here  (he's dropping my keys  off for me)

Cake!

Why hello there, bonjour and other greetingly sayings
I feel like I abandoned this blog a bit yesterday, but no fret, I did write but just forgot to post it (deary me) so I thought I would enlighten you all with it now (cue cheers of happiness)
So here it is...

Having found out that our form group at school was having a cake sale, I decided I would join in and bake some cakes because any excuse to bake, I will take it (if you haven't noticed already I am kinda dipsy and I don't enjoy washing up so I'm not allowed to bake often.)

When I got home, which was at like 4.30 due to the prolonged journey of two public buses, I realized I was locked out and my mum was only going to get home at 6.30 (yay!) Thanks to by lovely neighbour Jango, I wasn't outside for very long and even managed to have a nap before my mum came home - I do love a pre cake making nap!
Anyways I got in the house to find no ingredients and the batteries in the weighing scales to be dead meaning I had to take an emergency visit to Asda with my list of foody items ( I do love a good list, they make me feel really quite organised ) anyways, when I got home it was cake making time...
2/3 hours later I had 55 cakes that needed to cool and be iced but I'm going to do that tomorrow :)
So yeah...

My hair looks like a spring roll

At like 7pm tonight I had what I thought was a great idea, and went to curl my hair which was probably one of the biggest mistakes I have made ever as about 2 hours later, the ends of my hair look like spring rolls. No joke. I can't even show you though because I can't get up to get my phone otherwise Josephine will know that I am awake past my bed time (living life on the edge I am) so yeah, but if you were here right now, you'd want to eat my hair!
Oh my,that sounded wrong :l
I also think I used more hairspray than my french teacher which is saying something as she puts enough hairspray on her hair stays in for weeks (literally).
Anyways, I don't think I'll be curling my hair anytime soon after this, especially when I am tired which is all the time, so I don't think I'll be curling my hair anytime soon.
Goodnight

So Yeah...
THE END

Why hello there! ( I know that sounds pathetic but I have probably spent more time wondering how to start the blog than I the time I will spend writing it).

If you couldn't tell already, I really don't know what I am doing, I feel like my Grandma probably does when she's trying to use her Ipad, knowing what it's for but not getting anywhere when trying to use it :l I also have a random 'Erm...Hello?' appearing in the top corner of my screen and what that's chatting about, I don't really know to be honest.

I've also realized how bad my username is - don't judge - I spent ages trying to think of a creative one which were apparently not creative enough because surprise surprise, they were already taken... so what else could I do but go on an online generator. That's right, I was that bad at name making, I ended up having to generate one. It was a really bad website too, I can't remember what it was called but no fret, you're not missing out on much unless you wanted to waste about 10 minutes of your life on a website which was probably the most time wasting thing I have ever seen in my life (other than P.E)
So yeah
I probably won't write much here anyway, I might write for the first week or so and then forget I even started a blog... That's what always happens when it comes down to things like this. Par exemple ( check my French skills out ) I once decided to write a book (in like year 6) and I probably spent a week doing it and then forgot, same with my Performing Arts GCSE portfolio to be honest. I always find myself lying down in that class and never do any work meaning it's always last minute. Whoopsies.
I don't know how to end this either so yeah...
THE END

^the creativeness in the ending is overwhelming
